Simple terms for using Sharpen. Use it responsibly, we'll keep it running.

Service agreement

What you get and what we expect.

What we provide One engineering challenge a day delivered via Slack, curated content on architecture, systems, and languages.

Availability We aim for 99% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance.

Your responsibilities Use Sharpen within your Slack workspace's policies. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.

Cost

What Sharpen costs to use.

Free to use One challenge every day at no cost while Sharpen is in early access. All challenge types, the mental model behind each answer, and training mode are included. No credit card, no subscription, no billing. We may introduce paid plans later; we'll give notice before any change affects you.

Changes & termination

Service updates and account closure.

Service changes We may update features, pricing, or policies with notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Termination You can uninstall the app anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.

Limitations & liability

What we're responsible for and what we're not.

Content accuracy Challenges are curated but not guaranteed to be error-free. Use as educational reference, not authoritative documentation.

Liability limit Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Third-party services Sharpen relies on Slack's infrastructure. Outages or changes in Slack's service are beyond our control.

Intellectual property

Who owns what.

Our content All challenges, questions, and app design are owned by Sharpen. You may not reproduce or redistribute without permission.

Your data You retain ownership of any data you provide. We use it only as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be resolved in Spanish courts.
